Avira logo disappears from tray after battery charger disconnect (Win 7)
Hello everyone,
this problem already first occurred on August but disappeared. Now it made a comeback again.
On Windows 7 with all the latest updates Avira has a weird behaviour during disconnection of battery charger from laptop:
It opens the GUI of main program and shows there the page which tells which protection options are enabled. If this is an "advertise", I think it's a bit vague one to make most people understand that the point is to probably tell user that only real-time protection is on but not the other options.
However that's not the issue here but rather the fact that Avira logo from Windows system tray always disappears during that. And you won't see it again until you reboot the computer. Checking services tab from Windows task manager tells that all the services from Avira are normally up and running though - also Action Center doesn't complain that Avira wouldn't be on. So basing on that, I think it's only fault with the tray icon.

Oh and one more detail: Windows Event Viewer doesn't show any erros after this incident either.
