Avira manual VDF update

Hello everyone,

I don't know why my Avira stopped updating automatically, I get notification all the time from windows because avira is not updated and avira shows "last update: unknown".I tried to repair it downloading the latest installation file but nothing changed. So I am trying to manually update the Virus Definition File following the instruction at this link:

As suggested I downloaded the free update generator, then I got stuck. I can't find where to manually update in the new Avira control panel. Not even the "how-to" PDF (attached pic) with explaining picture could help me.

Does anyone know how to solve that?
