Avira VPN Pro - Privacy

Hi,

I am looking for some rationale as to what (or how Avira) would mitigate, Avira's home countries membership of the FIVE EYES alliance.

I am aware Avira is based in Germany, however that country is one of the five. 

Less than comfortable using ANY Avira product (let alone their VPN) until this is clarified.

There does not appear to be anything  on this site, apols if I am mistaken.

Looking forward to some integral Avira comment.
