Avira causing BSOD after Windows 11 Home update
I have band new Lenovo laptop and after updating from Windows 10 Home to Windows 11 Home I had BSOD right after startup (max. 10 seconds on screen time).
I had numerous calls with Microsoft Windows and Xbox support as error was SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED. I thought that Xbox installation mess up the system as download was stuck with an error message.
After uninstalling paid Avira antivirus software, everything works fine now for a couple of days. Do you have solution for this or I should switch to free AV software elsewhere?

This is not justa Windows 11 thing. My machine also hit the Blue Screen of Death in exactly the same fashion. It got caught in a loop of BSoD until I unplugged the network cable and uninstalled Avira. My installation is Windows 10, I had just signed on for Game Pass and started to download my first game which caused the crash. I pay for the AntiVirus Pro subscription so am keen to have this resolved.
