Mac hangs on scan

I just loaded Avira Free for Mac on my macbook 10.14.6 and tried running a full scan. It ran most of the way and then hung, it has been more than an hour on this file. There is a nonresponsive user agent, could that be connected? I've tried pausing and restarting. The quick scan ran successfully on load. This isn't giving me a good first impression of avira.

  Hello Russel,

  Well, a complete system scan can take some hours depending on the number of files which are needed to be scanned. So, a frozen "UserEventAgent" shouldn't happen anyway. Could you be so kind and post a log file of your Avira installation for further investigation?
