VPN for TV abroad

Hello, am now in England, coming from France. Trying to watch replay videos from a french TV channel, I have downloaded  and install Phantom VPN but when I try to open the french program it doesn't change anything and still refuses me the access because am in England. Help please, what is to be done to fix it? Thx
