Cannot download Avira Prime onto an iPhone 6

Since upgrading Avira from PRO to Prime on my laptop, I cannot sign in to my Avira account on an iPhone 6. As a result, I cannot update to Prime on my phone from the emailed link. Can anyone advise how to get out of the frozen login attempt state on the iPhone 6? Should I uninstall Avira on the phone first?
