How to find and fix corrupted files in Windows 10 - 64bytes

I operate a desk top computer with Windows 10.

I use the the "shows" section on RT website. The JW Player automatically runs the videos in the shows section, but for the past two weeks the JW Player is bumped off on the "Crosstalk" show and is replaced by the Rumble player. I noticed yesterday that this problem has come up on another program that I ocassionally watch.  I don't like using the Rumble player for several reasons, and I won't go into those details. The only thing I can see is that somehow some files have become corrupted.

I run Avira once a day, and there is no indication that Avira detects a problem with corrupted files. Do you have any suggestions?
