Trying to repair Avira, but a new message pops up in the middle
AbgeschlossenAfter I mistakenly restarted my laptop yesterday, when I booted it up this morning the little umbrella icon in the taskbar is closed. I'm trying to do a repair but every time I do now, when I get to 51% a new message pops up asking if I want to continue uninstallation, with a timer on the "No" option.
The message reads "An attempt has been made to uninstall Avira. This may be a legitimate action, but could also be the result of a malware attack. Allowing this action will leave your system unprotected."
I've clicked "No" every time it's come up, and then the repair stops and it says "Avira couldn't be repaired".
Do I have to click "Yes" to continue with the repair? It's just that I've never seen this message before.

Update: I managed to resolve by choosing "Modify" rather than "Uninstall" in the Apps and Features setting in Settings. Please consider this issue fixed.

We are unable to follow the information you have provided regarding your concern:
"After I accidentally restarted my laptop yesterday".
You don't have any protection for your system now, i.e. before the question about uninstalling.
It would therefore make sense to protect your system again with Avira and then carry out a scan of your system.
Unfortunately, you have not given any information about your operating system (with version number) and your Avira version.
