Windows Bluescreen on LAN connection and Unifi
AbgeschlossenI just wanted to throw this out there. Probably long winded... but I have been having issues with my PC bluescreening when the internet connection with my provider would drop. I was thinking network drivers or something else hardware related. Tried everything to alleviate the issue including starting to redo my PC thinking it was an actual Windows issue where Microsoft would keep repairing the issue so I had the issue. Upon the redo process of my machine, I noticed when I lost internet, both PC's would crash at exactly the same time. Pulling data from the minidumps both seemed to call out the same error of network drivers or bad pool errors. Nothing leading back to Avira AV. I thought for sure it was my Ubiquiti UDR router and it still might be because I never had any of these issues with my Buffalo running DDWRT, Linksys (default OS), Asus running Merlin or my other Asus (default OS). This Bluescreen issue seems to only happen when using my Unifi router and Avira AV being on my PC.
Sadly, I will have to leave Avira off my PC's
This is a 10th gen i5 running in an OptiPlex 7080 - both PC's are same spec. If Avira wants me to test I am willing to... any suggestions are welcome, but right now I have to leave it off my main computer! Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for getting back to me, I actually wasn't looking to get in touch with the support team, I was putting this out there as a "hey if you're getting bluescreens while on the LAN..." for others that might be getting bluescreens. Though if customer support wanted to get in touch with me to help sort the issue out, I am willing to test against my other machine. My guess is the integrated VPN. I was experiencing issues with it when it was a separate install awhile back, but not bluescreens it interfered with my work VPN. Then it became integrated and I didn't have issue... other than figuring out the software was causing bluescreens.
I am not a "premium customer" so I am sure this will fall under the radar. I could have just uninstalled the software and moved on, but decided to get onto the community and make people aware. As for version, pick a version that has been out over the last year, it's been happening that long. I attributed it to bad hardware or newer router - but I was wrong!
Thanks for responding though!
