Avira Rescue Disk which Wifi Adapter does it (Ubuntu) Support

I downloaded the latest ISO from the Avira website created a bootable USB flash drive rescue disk. I can boot successfully and run a scan without difficulty but I want to run the scan with the latest updates. This is where the problem lies. There are no Wifi adapters detected by Ubuntu or Avira software. How can I get Avira (Ubuntu) to detect my wireless Wifi adapter ?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
