real time protection is stopped

I have installed a free version of  Avira free security suite for window 10: Unfortunately  a red box appears saying REAL TIME PROTECTION IS STOPPED   and  when I try pushing the botton CORRECT NOW nothing appens.Also near the ANTIVIRUS box on the top there is  a little red circle  and  I cannot open the Antivirus

  Well, this sounds mad. First of all: Did you already tried a reinstallation as described below?

  I have also had this happen. I tried suggestion by Arthur above, but no changes. Avira still doesn't work. It seems like Microsoft has deprecated Avira Antivirus in favor of Microsoft products.

  I´ve been working fine with prime Avira Pro in my windows 7  desktop for more than a year but recently after performing a reinstallation, the real-time protection doesn´t work at all and Avira checks that action has to be pèrformed for a correction.  I have tried many reinstallations but in all the cases a message appears saying    Avira´s CCPLG.XML file is missing. Please wait for the automatic Avira update.

  After many restarts, this message keeps on popping up and log updates don't work while real-time protection keeps off al the time.  I need urgent help to restore Avira pro protection as soon as possible

  Hi Cesar,

  if a reboot did not do the trick for you should follow the advice from Arthur to reinstall Avira. 

  Let me know if that worked for you.
