CCPLG.XML file missing and no real time protection.

Other people have reported this problem but there appear no solutions. Please help: I have just reinstalled a Avira free security suite for window 10: Unfortunately a red box appears saying REAL TIME PROTECTION IS STOPPED and when I try pushing the button CORRECT NOW nothing happens. Also near the ANTIVIRUS box on the top there is a little red circl. Before  a recent reinstallation this worked fine how do I resolve please.
