Automatical renewal on a subscription that I cancelled 3 months ago
AbgeschlossenIn roughly February of this year, I told Avira I was cancelling my subscription. It had been taking my money for the past two years and was not supporting my OS anymore.
I received a notice the other day announcing that I would be getting renewed via email. I wrote back, asking them to not renew anything as I had found another anti-virus. The note from them suggested I get on my account and click the "unsubscribe" button.
I get on the account page and it tells me my name and info, but there is NO unsubscribe "button" and indeed I am listed as "not having a subscription" to deactivate. This makes sens as I deactivated it months ago, but I am still getting charged for this?
Idiots. And this used to be a very good antiviral.
