I have tried literally 10 times, I click on the download, then click install, and then it just keeps saying not installed and takes me right back through the whole thing again.  I followed the link you provided and entered my product key, tried yet again, and same thing happened when I followed the new email you sent me.  Ugh!

  Hello Jill,

  it would help us if you could give us more information.
  Which operating system is installed, which version of Avira do you want to install, where was the license purchased - in a store or in the Avira Online Shop. From whom did you receive a new email with instructions that you also could not follow.

  What is written in your Avira customer account https://my.avira.com/ 
  under subscriptions https://my.avira.com/en/dashboard/subscriptions/tabs/plans 

  If you purchased your license in the Avira Online Shop, you do not need to enter an activation code. The license will be activated to the email address you used when you purchased it.  

  It is possible that an activation code was delivered in the retail shop. Enter the activation code according to the following instructions.
