Updated installation problem
BeantwortetI have recently (January) renewed my Avira Pro antivirus subscription and successfully installed it on my wife's new PC. Unfortunately on my own PC (on which the program has been running for years) I cannot get it to run. On opening the program and selecting Smart Scan or a Full scan it freezes and I get a bracketed (not responding) message at the top of the window next to the Avira logo.
I am running Win10 with an Intel i7 processor (3.4Ghz) and 8Gb Ram.

Please check in your customer account at https://my.avira.com/en/dashboard/home under https://my.avira.com/en/dashboard/subscriptions/tabs/plans
the settings. Did you click on Install from there and follow the instructions for your installation?Please try a repair installation:
an uninstallation with reinstallation:
or a manual reinstallation:
