Note
A repair installation of Avira Security has to be performed via the Windows settings.
Repair installation
1. Click in the lower left corner the Windows icon → Settings.
2. Click Apps and search for Avira Security in the “Apps & features” area.
3. Select Avira Security.
4. Click Uninstall to start the Avira installer.
5. Once the Avira installer opens click Repair.
Note
A repair installation will set all app settings back to default.
