For the last couple of days when I start my Windows 10 PC Avira in the system tray has been showing the software as having the Real Time Protection as off (closed umbrella). When I select Manage Antivirus Real Time Protection is showing as on. The only way of resolving the problem is to actually turn Real Time Protection off and then back on again.
