How to find and remove a Malware file......
CompletedThe following file is continually being quarantined by Avira, approx every 3 minutes!
C\Users\Duncan\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default\Cache\f_05271f.
How do I find and remove it from the computer?
Can I instruct Avira to do it and if so, how?
I carried out a full scan overnight and it did not show on the report!
Please note, I am NOT tech minded so answers as simple as possible please!

Sorry if this sounds daft but I don't know.........

You can use the tool CCleaner or clean the cache inside Chrome under options - i'm quite sure, both should work. Try and let us know.

I have cleared the cache in Chrome settings and installed CCleaner but neither have removed the file.

When the alert comes up - when using the browser or also when its not in use?
Can you also get Malwarebytes and do a fullscan and post the result?

Thanks all, looks like I sorted it out but not sure which fix worked. Will keep them for future problems.

Avira lets Malware go! I had dozens a day. I downloaded Malwarebytes pro (free for 14 days) and everything was cleaned. BIG gap of Avira.
