Windows 10 deactivated the Avira Launcher and other Avira programs

I upgraded a few days ago to the latest version of Windows 10 from a prior version of Windows 10. Microsoft has deactivated all of my programs with Avira. My account page shows that all the programs are installed. The history section shows that my Avira was deactivated. How do I reactivate all of the Avira programs without having to remove and then reinstall them? This is the third time this has happened and I can't keep reinstalling the software every three months or whenever there is a significant Windows update. Thank you. By the way, in this latest version you can no longer set your default virus protection using the windows settings menu.
