How do I uninstall Avira Antivirus Security Version 6.1.0 on my Android phone?

When I go into my Samsung's Application Manager and click Antivirus Security 6.1.0 both the Force Stop and Uninstall buttons are greyed out, only the Clear Cache button is active. How do I uninstall the app? Thanks.

  Hello,

  The Avira App can only be uninstalled with the device administrator deactivated.

  Proceed as follows to deactivate the device administrator:

  - Tap on "Settings", then on "Security" and "Device Administrator".
  - Now remove the checkmark from the Avira App.
  - After uninstalling, restart the smartphone.

  The settings can be different depending on the installed Android version, or the used device. If the steps above are not successful, please look in the settings for the option to deactivate the device administrator.
