    Hello Joseph.

     

    At the moment we support macOS version 10.13.6 (High Sierra) and higher. So customers with a smaller macOS version should do an upgrade and check if the problem still persists.

    In your special case:

    We did an update of our antivirus mac product and with this update the old mac version .10.5 getting this message you describe.

    So the only way to solve this issue is to upgrade your system.

    Sorry that i have no better solution for your.

    I cannot upgrade as my machine is too old (mid 2010) As i have paid for a month for avira can I please have a refund?
