Avira ignores the EXCEPTIONS list !

Hi

Realtime Avira ignores the EXCEPTIONS list !

How to reproduce:

The program CMDOW.exe is an open source command-line utility to manipulate windows visuality
ritchielawrence.github.io/cmdow/#synopsis
github.com/ritchielawrence/cmdow

Because of its ability, the program is marked by Avira as suspicious.

Even after the program is added to the ignore lists
Both to the
FILE IGNORE LIST
and to the
PROCESS IGNORE LIST
Realtime Avira prevents the running of this program !

  Hello Customer.

   

  I tried to reproduce your problem with one of our systems and both the realtime protection and the normal system scan dont delete this file or prevents this from running normally.

  So for now it doesn't seems that Avira is the Problem, that the Programm not works properly.

  Maybe you can provide us some screenshots, that we can have deeper look into it.

  I'm having a similar problem, Avira flags 2 apps I've used for years as suspicious and quarantines them, so I've added the exe files and the install location folders to the exceptions list.

  Avira completely ignores this and deletes the files every time I try to run them.

  I've contacted support but ofc Avira is NEVER the problem.

  I'm encountering the same issue, at the moment. Turn off Real-time monitoring; pull out of quarantine; add to 'Exceptions'; turn on Real-time monitoring; file back in quarantine…rinse and repeat! Avira not the problem? :o(
