What apps are necessary?

So with this "upgrade" I ended up installing a number of components like the speed up or whatever.  What is necessary for a bare bones installation?

-----Task manager now shows:

Antivir shadow copy service

Antivirus Host Framework service (32 bit) / real time protection

Antivirus Host Framework service (32 bit) / scheduler

Avira Protected Antimalware service (32 bit) / Avira protected service

Avira Service Host (32 bit) / Avira service host

Avira system tray application (32 bit)

-----and in the services app:

Avira Mail Protection

Avira protected service

Avira real time protection

Avira scheduler

Avira service host

Avira web protection

 

Seems about right, also seems like a lot.

  Well, as a security suite basing on different protection features this list is correct. All these processes/ services are needed to provide a properly secured system.
