Avira has taken away my permission rights in windows.
As stated this "free antivirus" installed several different software that has taken away several permissions in windows settings and other places. Now i just wanted a free antivirus to scan my pc as i have other software for EVERYTHING else avira installed. I cant conntact support without paying for this product and will now label it Malware. If i cant get help from avira i will ask here if there is anything i can do. If not i will have to consider shutting the site down until my issue is fixed. This is not what was advertised or promised to me so i do believe avira is at fault here. I was not informed that i was getting more than one program. I was not expecting or even wanted other software. Now even the free software i used cannot fix the problem it has created. This is so far the most shady antivirus i have ever encountered. I will put up a review of it. I will maybe make a video of the issues i have encountered. If so i will upload it to youtube. and if at this point avira has not helped me i will ddos the site. It is as far as i know illegal to ruin someone elses windows and request payment to help them fix it. So i would love to see them in court.

Hello Christer,
Well, as also mentioned by the product name which is called Avira Free Security Suite additional programs will be installed beside the antivirus module. You can uninstall it afterward if you don't need it.
Also please watch your language as we're willing to assist you in any way but are in need of productive feedback and not just bagging. So, feel free to come back in a polite way and we're glad to assist you.
Best,

I am sorry but you must be confused as it states on your page
https://www.avira.com/en/free-antivirus
This is only
Download Avira Free Antivirus
Award-winning protection for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
and
"Avira plugs the holes Windows Defender often leaves open"
This is not something i did not read properly. Also even after uninstalling ALL of them, i still have permission issues on several points. I can not change settings like: Projecting to this pc, Desktop background, lockscreen, themes, VPN and more. SO as you are incorrect and assume i chose a different product than the one i named, i must say this will let my language slide. So tell me please how i can reverse the changes to my permissions without using hours going through my registry and changing it manually. Also i find it unacceptable that a free antivirus unwillingly adds other software products you will not notice until you want to delete it.

3 years later and it STILL does the same thing. First it quarantined all of the Windows sysinternals .exe files (that i am using for school). Then changes the permissions to just about everything in my C: drive, so now I don't even have permission to restore the files I need.
This was a great alternative to AVG about 10-15 years ago, which is why I decided to try it again. Now , its borderline ransomware.0
