I am a professional and I advise Avira on a regular basis to my customers, leaving them the choice of buying it or not, because I find your and your product very correct, light and rather reliable overall.
I am affiliated to several information sites and other new technologies and I have just received the study of RACK911 in support and I see that even avira has this huge security flaw, having experienced it myself, I but initially believed to be a loading windows bug, but it is quite different with this article, several antiviruses are affected ...
So my question is; Did you correct this flaw or not to date or work on it, and if so when will it be available for update so that I can always recommend your product to my customers! ???

Thank you for your trust and support over the years. The mentioned security issue is already fixed since a long period. So there's no need to do a manual fix. Just make sure that you run regular updates and also check that the used operating system is also up-2-date.

Short and simple: Yes! This issue is already fixed for a while. All users who are running regular updates already got this product update without handling this on their own.
