Avira icon crashing

Hello,

 

My problem is that during startup, Avira icon in the taskbar says initializing then disappears as if it crashed.

The program is running of course, runs in the background as per task manager and is completely functional.

Just the icon gone. Not sure what causes this but it's very annoying to look at.

Reinstalled it same issue. On a separate machine, it runs fine. On another machine which was recently reformat, issue occurs weather you install Avira first or not. I thought it was office 365 at first but not sure if you guys have any data on this.

Hope you could shed some light on this OCD user.

  The problem with the disappearance of the Avira icon in the task bar after initiation is caused by the latest win 10 update (KB5001391) in which they added news and interests. If you disable news and interests the Avira icon in the task bar will always disappear after initialization.The only solution is not to block news and interests.
