bullshit with avira security
Does anybody know how to fix this bullshit?

Did I forgot to mention, that this happens directly after start-up? The whole App does not response. The reaction time is super slow.

sorry for my harsh words, but how to call a SW that does not react to user input. The buttons on
do not work as well.
A trail to solve the issue was to re-install the software, but unfortunately without success.
The Security Software does not show any version, but it should be the latest version. I run Win 10 Pro on a MS Surface Pro 7 (i5-1035G4).

I'm in the USA but translating to English from the German I'm experiencing the exact same (lack of) performance as Jurgen. When I open Security (version 1.0.39.12408) and click on Scan, the screen says "Cancelling" and warns me that advertisers can see what I search and shop for. No matter how long I wait, it will not produce a result.
I'm running Windows 10 Home version 20H2 (build 19042.572) on a HP laptop with 12gb ram and an i7 processor.
I tried removing and reinstalling, but it made no difference. If I try individual modules like Optimize the program says it is not responding and crashes, saying Avira will be notified. Driver Update runs and runs, but never shows results. Running Security as an administrator also does not change the outcome.
I have the mobile app installed on an iPhone 11 and iPad Pro and they work great.

it seems, that Avira has no idea, how to solve the issue. I still have the problem.
Let us hope that Lukas Huptas sees you post as well.

I'm just moving to MalwareBytes because of this Avira Security Bloatware bullshit.
Its sad that from a lightweitght full of features and cofigurations antivirus, it moved to a bullshit suite full of unwanted application installations bundled with a heavy slow unusable user interface.
