    Moin,

So liebes Avira Team, dann lasst mal hören, was Ihr mir an Updates zukommen lassen könnt?

    Vielen Dank schon Mal.

    Viele Grüße

I get absolutely no response from Avira in the English-language threads on Big Sur, so I am trying the German threads.

I have a Prime licence and currently I have installed MacOS Catalina.  I have not yet upgraded to Big Sur mainly because I expect that my Avira Prime installation will no longer work.

Please please please can someone from Avira respond: will it work with Big Sur? If so, what do I need to do?  If not, what will Avira do?

    Hello Philip,
Your concern about the new version Big Sur is understandable, but you have already asked several questions, some of which have been answered.
You have also contacted the support team and received answers from this team.

Please try again to clarify your concerns with the support team.
In doing so, you should also clarify what you cannot accept from the answers you received.
The Community is a publicly accessible team, personal data cannot and may not be processed here - Privacy Policy GDPR.
Customers of the premium versions can contact the support team directly. You know the way. Please try to have a closer look at the answers from the support team or describe your concerns in detail.
If you have concerns about the new technology, a certain risk lies in the different settings of the individual devices alone. Every time you change the installation, the new software and different settings, you will have some concerns at first. That's why you make backups beforehand, so that the old version can be installed again if something goes wrong.

You will get a personal consultation to your personal doubts at the support team, there you can ask questions and there is a personal description possible, better than here in the public forum.

We thank you for your understanding and hope that most of your concerns can be resolved. This is also a reassurance for you afterwards.

    Many greetings

    Thank you Pascha

I know I have asked questions and received answers.  The answers - to my mind - were less than categorical and my confidence has subsequently been rather undermined by other concerns and comments that have been expressed in the Community.

I know that I shall have to 'bite the bullet' in due course, I just wish I could feel more confident in advance ...

    Hello Philip,

I can understand that. Every modification requires a change, loss of dear habits. But we will also be able to cope with that...

When the time comes and it is a little unclear, we will try to help you.

Don't worry yet, it is enough when the installation begins. Only the unknown makes you afraid, we know more during the installation and perhaps all worry was unnecessary. I wish you a nice and somewhat calmed evening.

    Many greetings
