VPN on Avira Prime will not stay connected.

The VPN connects, and the popup says "your connection is secure". Then, a while later, I get a notification that the VPN is not connected, or that it can't find a connection.

  Dear Lukas,

   

  Thank you for your reply. The Phantom VPN would not remain connected for a period of three days. The pop ups varied in their reasons why I had no connection (it hasn’t happened again, so no screen shot). They appeared in the “notification panel” on my desktop. That’s when I wrote to ask for help. I did not use it until you replied. For five days now it has stayed connected. It appears to have healed itself.

   

  I use a Lenovo Desktop PC, with Windows 10, and a cable internet connection.

  I too noticed that Avira's VPN was shutting down especially after I started a session after I had put the computer on standby. Also I noticed that I did not have access to certain sites (even the one of Avira on this page) if my VPN was activated and this for other sites) I then had to deactivate the VPN to browse normally. So to find Avira's VPN after deactivation, you had to restart the computer each time. In short, this causes me many inconveniences, as I have no doubt seen for many. No doubt a computer `` bug '' directly attributable to AVIRA VPN ....

  SIMPLE SUGGESTION: Several VPNs have a button in the task bar that lights up (blue or green color) when the VPN is active .; To deactivate the VPN, all you have to do is click on this button and also simply click on the same button again to reactivate it. What could be simpler. I believe Avira can do the same, right? This would avoid many problems with AVIRA's VPN

  After years of the VPN, have you found a solution to keeping the VPN connected.??? 
  Automatically? says it has that feature but it still doesn't work.
  Still not staying connected for years now.
