Alvira Freeze After opening software

I have Alvira Security free. The software freezes after starting the program.

I do not want to re-install due to the passwords saved.

  Ok I did a Repair and it seemed to work for now. I will see how it goes. I am anyway going to make screenshots of my passwords. I know with Avast if you uninstall and re-install the passwords are kept. I do not know whether Avira is the same. Please advise.

  Nope it is not working. It only works for a while and then I have to repair again.
