Scan external hard drive Mac Big Sur

Hello.

Mac BigSur with latest updates, as well as Avira Prime with latest updates.

How do I scan the external hard drive that is permanently connected to my Mac and contains most of my data?

  Hello Jay,

  At the moment a scan of external drives is possible if your external drive is mounted. Please run a full scan to scan all mounted drives.

  Our dev. dept. is planning to add custom scan options with an upcoming update which is estimated in the next couple of weeks.
