Avira free version keeps hanging

Following a recent Avira update my Avira Anti virus will not load and keeps hanging. I have tried the repair feature and uninstalling the program and re installing but to no avail. Does this mean Avira no longer offering a reliable free anti virus system to counter viscious virusus, malware and spyware

  • Which Avira antivirus program is it? Please specify.
  • Where can Avira Antivirus no longer be loaded and hangs?
  • A screenshot would also be helpful.

  How did you proceed with the uninstallation and reinstallation? Did you clean up the system?
