Frustrating

I had a 3 device license and had installation issues with MacOS BigSur on M1 Apple Silicon. Opened a case, got some mails back from the robot with some completely not related tips and the message support will get back to me. Never happened.

I have been so stupid to upgrade to prime, paid another EUR 99.-- and now the Avira Security App asks me to install Avira on my Mac - which I did already several times, only adding "unknown devices" with the message "installation pending" and " installation will start when your device is online" - nice joke, what Avira is thinking which Apple I am sitting in front of??

  Hello?

  So, would be very kind to have posted the ANSWER for others to know how to solve!  Very glad for Christian....still VERY FRUSTRATING for the rest of us Mac users who have upgraded and see new unknown device after new unknown device being added ~ with installs pending and no idea as to how to get them online!

  Hi John, when I was posting this, I got contacted by Avira support stating me that this is a known issue which does NOT influence the AV functionality. And I was asked to wait for the next update which would solve this problem. Obviously like  anybody else I am still waiting for this „cosmetic“ update.
