I couldn't update my Avira. When I try, this message appears:

Post-update hook '"/Applications/Avira.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/Update/savapi3_post.sh" --clear-whitelist --ave' for module 'AVE2' failed (exit code 1).

What can I do except deleting and re-installing?

  I am having a similar problem. The update don't pass the 85%.

  Since this problem has already been described several times, have you already carried out a repair installation or an uninstallation followed by a new installation?
  In my case, the error was solved with a repair installation.
