endless installer looping

4 hours, endless installer looping, multiple efforts to install on mac os catalina including using uninstall script to clear out old version. 10.15.7 running on 27" imac (27-inch, Late 2012). Success on Android cellphone MotorolaG-4 several years old. Avira user for 10 years, installed on clients windows, etc. 20 years engineering test of software & hardware can't believe this!

  Hi Chuck,

  Our dev. team is working on a fix but atm just add the "Avira Security Helper".

  As a workaround to unblock the situation:

  • In the full disk, access section click on the +
  • In the search area type "Avira Security Helper"
  • Select the file in the results
  • Click "Open"

  This should add the missing service and unlock the setup step to finalize the process.
