Avira Free Security; VPN no longer connecting
AnsweredAs per the post title, I can no longer use the VPN feature of Avira Free Security.
I am running Windows 10 Home, Version 21H1. Avira Free Security, version 1.1.54.22644.
For awhile now, within the program under Privacy > VPN, I press 'Turn on VPN' and it shows 'VPN is connecting...' for a few seconds and then reverts to 'Your VPN is off'. No error message, it just won't connect any more. My monthly secured traffic is showing 0 MB / 1 GB.
Any help/suggestions on how to resolve would be appreciated.

We regret the strange behaviour of your VPN connection.
If the connection was working before, have you tried uninstalling VPN and then reinstalling it?
Unfortunately, it is very difficult for us to say anything about your error message without checking your installation. But that is not possible here in the community, we have no access to your customer account or your installation. This can only be done by the support team.
Perhaps a clean reinstallation with prior cleaning will result in correct behaviour.
