Avira opens every time I unplug my laptop

I have an Asus Zenbook, and since August Avira has opened every single time I unplug my laptop from its charger. There is no setting to stop this within the app or on my PC, what can I do?

  I have this same problem on a Lenovo Yoga, it doesn't run any scans just opens the app. The only setting available seems to be the language setting. Any help would be much appreciated.

  I have two laptops with the same problem. Avira opens every time I unplug my laptop. Both are Asus Zenbook's.

  I have a new Alienware m15 r6, I have the exact same problem.
  Avira opens every time I unplug my laptop. It is very very irritating. Please fix.

  Hi - This behavior should be already fixed since a couple of days. Please make sure that your used Avira instance is updated.
