Missing Avira Security Helper

Hello,

I am trying to set Avira Antivirus on my Mac, however when I go to my System Preferences, I see only "Avira Scan Service" and "Avira Security" but not "Avira Security Helper". When I try to add "Avira Security Helper" to the list of of apps using the "+" button, I do not find it anywhere in my mac. Can I download and install "Avira Security Helper" separately?

  Same here. I wonder if the antivirus I indeed working without that.

  Same here. Searching for solution, as I cannot proceed to set up Avira without Avira Security Helper

  This problem has existed for months. Actually broke Avira install on the Mac back then. I thought I would see if it had been fixed (I did a clean uninstall, removing the junk Avira left behind). Still no "Security Helper". Since Avira does not seem to care about fixing it (maybe this is intentionally broken so we get a subscription?) I have to assume that Avira is not a good choice for Mac users, even WITH a subscription.

  His this problem solved ? Tried to install free version yesterday. And I have no Avira Security Helper in my system preferences ? If not, I will never pay for the full version... :-(
