Avira Malware
CompletedA few days ago I installed AVG Free Edition.
Since then I've rebooted my PC a couple of times and today after I launched my Chrome I noticed that I've got several extensions installed without my permission:
New extension added (Avira Password Manager)
New extension added (Avira Safe Shopping)
New extension added (Avira Browser Safety)
I didn't allow Avira to install any of that stuff into my browsers. I don't want to have any spyware, malware, adware or any kind of shitware installed as my browser extension, as a home page or any other stuff in my system.
So what the hell is going on, why Avira is thinking it can install any parts of its software into my system without my permission?

Same thing happened to me. Since I don't want all of the 3 extensions I fixed by uninstall, searching the registry and files for avira and deleting them. After re-installation no more extensions pop ups.
EDIT: They returned, but I finally fixed it by searching for the extension ID at
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Google\Chrome\Extensionsand removing them. BE SURE ID (like aabbccddeeffgghhiijjkklmnopqrstu) match with your desired unwanted extension
