Vpn unlimited not turning on in my samsung ultra 21

I habe a paid VPN unlimited subscription. When I turn on the VPN the icon appears on the top of my phone then disappears. I have to click again to turn it on but it still does not work. I have already re-installed it more than once. It was working before.
