Avira Security Control panel popping up after reboot or sleep/standby

Since a few days, every time I logon to my laptop, the Avira Security Control panel is popping up, after a reboot but also after sleep or standby. This is a nuisance. I found some old posts (like this https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360013402818/comments/360003237497) of a year ago, but apparently the issue is back. I did a renewed install today without effect. Please make look into this!
