How do we install the antivirus program ONLY.  I don't want or need any of the bullshit Avira is forcing on us now.

  Unfortunately, you have not given us any information about which Avira version your question is about.
  In the Avira Antivirus Pro version, you are only offered the installation of ANTIVIRUS PROTECTION.
  Please have a look at the Avira versions:
