Can't update email address

I am change my internet provider in a couple of days. My current email address will then no longer exist. I want to update my Avira account email address but I keep getting the same message that the email address is already in use. I can't log in using the new email address though and I am no receiving any 5-digit code on my hotmail account.

  Update the email address in your Avira account – Official Avira Support | Knowledgebase & Customer Support | Avira

  Otherwise, customers with a valid licence and correctly logged in can contact the support team directly from the customer account under "Support".

  Unfortunately, we do not have access to your customer account here in the publicly accessible forum.
