Can't get to confugration options

I'm trying to follow the Avira faq to configure my Avira real-time protection, free version. Specifically, I'm following this post: https://support.avira.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000850585-What-is-Avira-Real-time-protection-and-how-can-I-configure-it-

However, when I follow the instructions and click the settings option, I do not get anything close to what the images show I should be getting. Instead I get a settings window that has minimal options, ones that I would say don't even meet the barest of essentials for configuring a program like Avira.

Please help me figure out how to get to the configuration menu shown in the images in the post linked above.
