Avira Security or AntiVirus Pro

Hi,

I thought this query would have been in the knowledge base, but alas.

I am using AV Pro, which sometimes appears (starts) a package called 'avira security'. Therefore not sure what my product is. Can someone clarify?

The query I have is that it doesn't seem to be starting with windows, as a basic scan from file exploere prompts a start up of 'avira security'.

The 'avira security' icon  the is evident in the system tray, so 'something' is starting automatically with windows.

  Hello Lee,

  Avira offers different versions that contain different applications.
  These are described in the Avira offers. In this way, everyone can choose the applications for their activities on the computer according to their needs. Avira is a virus protection program, all versions contain Avira Security, which can be opened with the umbrella symbol in the taskbar, which is normally set to become active immediately when switched on.
