Installation

I had a faulty RAM stick, and as such, somehow or other, the Avira installation failed at the last second.. The problem is that it thinks that it's installed, but it's not because it doesn't work.. I've tried 'repairing' it, but that doesn't work either.. I've tried uninstalling it through Windows Apps, and it does nothing whatsoever.. I'm stuck.. Can anybody help please?

Thanks Pascha45 for your backhanded helpful comment.. I'm sorry I didn't include the serial number on my RAM too... What you provided is the answer to my problem, but I really don't appreciate the tone.. I've been using Avira Antivir for over 25 years and have recommended it to everyone i know, both professionally and personally.. For 25 years! I probably knew about Luke Filewalker (sic) before you were born! Have some respect.

Without information about the OS with exact version number and current update and the equally important Avira version with exact designation and current version number, we often cannot get a picture. This is important when installing with your "defective RAM stick", because we do not know what caused a defective installation on your OS. This can hinder an uninstallation.You had already contacted support, so we thought it's right to point you to the help of support with the technicians there with the correct login. Without access to your data/installations, we can't offer helpful guidance here in the community - we don't have access to your installation.
