All Quarantine Files Disappear
TerminéeDid a scan on my hard drive and a backup drive. Avira quarantined a bunch of web zip files which are generally harmless in their gzipped fashion, flagged but just in the email part of an archive so not to worry. I tried to restore them and Avira is having a difficult time. Not only didn't it restore most of the files but it hung the program. Then when I rebooted and restarted, Avira has a completely empty Quarantine - all 143 files that were in there are gone.
I did a search on the startup drive (Windows 11) and see quite a number of .qua files that I can't access which I assume are the Avira quarantined files but avira cannot see them. So, what does one do to restore or retrieve those files. It's lots of backups that should be pulled out of the quarantine.
