Avira Windows found file, Mobile did not find same file

A dodgey .exe file was force downloaded onto my PC and phone. I did a scan with Avira on my PC, it found the file and successfully eliminated it.
I then did a scan on my phone with Avira for android for the same file that had been downloaded. Avira mobile failed to find it after multiple scans with all permissions enabled (files ect). In fact, its still on my phone and I'm not sure how to get rid of it. I'm also not sure why Avira mobile could not find the file when Avira windows could? Don't they use the same virus database?
