Making exceptions for executable files that I make?
TerminéeI am making and testing a python distributable. Avira keeps putting the exe files into quarantine, which is very frustrating! Is there a way to disable this feature for now or make an exception for files in a specific dir?

Hello Gavin,
You are writing here in the Avira Community, a publicly accessible forum.
We have neither access to your Avira customer account and your Avira installation (Avira licence) nor to your installed OS and the current update with the exact version number of the purchased Avira licence.Unfortunately, the publicly accessible Avira Community is not a way to contact Avira Support directly. See the Avira Community Guidelines: "How to create a Post?"

The digital assistant Mark also drew your attention to this: "I am here to help, but my assistance is limited to your subscription level." and "If you have an account, please log in for premium support services."
There is a reason why a file is moved to quarantine?!
In the Avira Knowledge Base & Customer Support, you will find instructions for short-term system protection deactivation - depending on the installed Avira version, unfortunately, you have not provided any information about your installed licence.
This option is also available by right-clicking on the Avira icon in the taskbar.Premium customers with a valid licence and correct registration can contact the support team directly from the Avira customer account under "SUPPORT": via e-mail, support chat and (in some cases) telephone. Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards
